About Me

My name is Alix Matteson, and I am a Certified Academic Language Therapist (CALT) and a Licensed Dyslexia Therapist. I became a dyslexia therapist after my twin boys were diagnosed with dyslexia. Their diagnosis inspired me to help other families with children who have dyslexia. I have over 25 years of teaching experience and am constantly reasearching about how children learn best. It has been an honor for me to work with some amazing families and help their children become successful students.
